Job Description

Position Responsibilities

·        Experimental work with solid catalysts and subsequent sample analysis using GC and related analytical software (and scales, callipers, come grit, etc.).

·        Excellent lab notebook logging and database entry.

·        In collaboration with team members, ongoing review and improvement of experimental rigs. Experimental creativity to understand key premises and data interpretation.

·        Close interaction with contractors, vendors and service providers.

·        Effective communication of project updates to management.

·        Extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Position Requirements 

·        Hands on experience with reactor systems, including design, set up, and operation.

·        Experience in Gas Chromatography analysis and related equipment.

·        Excellent in use and handling of chemicals and compressed gases.

·        Follow safe laboratory practices.

·        Creative and independent mentality.

·        Willing to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.

·        Must be very flexible, able to learn independently and communicate well with a cross-functional team.

·        Desire to succeed tempered by maturity and a good sense of humor.
