Job Description

This is an Islamabad based position reporting to Facilities Engineering Supervisor.

Responsibilities include provision of technical support for safe and efficient operation; participation in identifying, defining, evaluating and validating management of change requests; detailed technical evaluation and / or safety audits; conduct feasibility studies for process facilities debottlenecking; conceptual and detailed process engineering designs; liaison with Engineering Consultants during basic design phase; provide input to HAZOP / design reviews and ensuring the implementation of HAZOP recommendations; assisting the team to operate facilities optimally where necessary lending support to develop and maintain process models. 

Review / develop reports on fluid processing properties and transportation; provide support during projects; identify scope and screen options for production optimization projects; review and report on new techniques on process engineering.

Well conversant with Process Engineering tools and softwares like Hysis etc. Should be experienced in Safety Critical Equipment and Critical Controls management. Experience of Pre-Start Up safety Reviews and Root Cause Analysis methodologies preferred.

Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 7 years of experience in the oil and gas or related industries. Applicant should be well versed with HSEC Standards. Must possess demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities. Previous experience with Process and Flow simulation applications. Quality written and oral skills. First rate technical skills with a broad range of process knowledge. Ability to work with diverse group of people ranging from technical staff to on site operations staff.
